Mrs. Pearl Doan 80, resident of Crawfordsville since 1929 died Monday night in Culver Hospital. A native of Potomac, Ill, she was born June 4, 1886. She was married to James Doan Sr on Jan 4, 1904. He died in 1959. Mr. and Mrs. Doan resided at Potomac until 1920 when they moved to Montgomery County. Mrs. Doan attended the Parkersburg Christian Church. Surviving are a son, James Doan Jr. of Crawfordsville; two daughters, Mrs. Frances Chumley of Sonoma, Calif and Mrs. Mildred Wilkinson of Guadalajura, Mexico; five grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bright Funeral Home with Rev. John R. Servies officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown.
